There is no complicated protocol here. Start by learning each herb on its own.
For a simple herbal tea:
Add approximately 1–2 teaspoons of loose herb per 8 oz of hot water. Cover and steep for 10–15 minutes, then strain.
For softer herbs like Rose and Damiana, a shorter steep creates a lighter, more aromatic cup.
For more nourishing herbs like Nettle and Raspberry Leaf, let them steep longer — around 15–20 minutes — or make a stronger infusion when you want something more mineral-rich and grounding.
You can drink them individually or begin blending them together as you learn what you love.
A few combinations I love:
- Nettle + Raspberry Leaf for an earthy everyday women's tea
- Rose + Damiana for a softer, more sensual evening ritual
- Rose + Raspberry Leaf around your cycle
- Nettle + Rose when you want nourishment with a little softness
Start simple. Pay attention to how each plant tastes, smells, and makes you feel. That is really where herbalism begins.
Note: Consult your healthcare provider before use during pregnancy, while breastfeeding, or when taking medication, especially diuretics, blood-pressure medication, blood thinners, or blood-sugar medication.
